Wine tourism and guided visits at 900 meters of above sea level and only 15 minutes away from the Mediterranean Sea, we offer these unique experiences.
Wine making
We offer you the unique opportunity to learn about the production and ageing of organic wine through a visit to our winery.
You’ll be able to taste and distinguish between wines through its various stages, from barrel to bottle ageing.
Varieties
You will be able to appreciate the differences against some more common grape varieties like Monastrell or Moscatel, through the colours of Garnacha Tintorera “Alicante Bouschet”, the elegance of Cabernet Franc, the liveliness of Shiraz, the stylishness of Marselan and the tradition Cabernet Sauvignon.
Aromas
You will appreciate the difference in aromas from the selection of barrels that we use from the most prestigious cooperages including Cadus, Taransaud, Nadalié, Seguin Moreaux and Stockinger.
VINEYARD LOCATION
Mas de la Real Sella
Enjoy a visit to our Mediterranean ecological vineyard, located on the road from Sella to Alcoy, at 900 m above sea level. The highest vineyard on the Spanish Mediterranean coast. You will be surprised by the high mountain viticulture in an environment that is so close to the more renown sun and beach.
You will learn about the processes of organic viticulture in a horseshoe-shaped plantation. In the high mountains and only 15 km from the sea side, we present the five thousand plants from which the grapes are born to make our wines. You will learn to distinguish between the different vine varieties, guidance systems and ecological pest prevention methods. During the fruit’s ripening period, we offer the exclusive opportunity of grape tasting.

Winery
Our winery is located in Villajoyosa (Alicante).
The visits are from Monday to Saturday at 11am. It takes about 90 minutes aprox and includes:
– Detailed explanation about organic winemaking.
– Exclusive tasting of Mas de Sella wines: Mas de Sella selección, Sinto Centella, Carreró and our new production, Niu.
– Nibbles including local charcuterie.
– Barrel tasting depending on the time of year.
– Groups maximum up to 12 people.
-Price is 20€ each person.
– Visits need previous reservetation.

Visits can be arranged from Monday to Saturday at 11am. PRIOR APPOINTMENT is ESSENTIAL.
The Cellar is located in Villajoyosa (Alicante).

– Visit to the vineyard 60 minutes: tour of the vineyard, explanations about viticulture and enjoy the magnificent views.
– Visit to the cellar between 60 minutes: explanations about the production of wines and tasting of the Mas de Sella wines. Includes bottle tasting or, depending on the season, barrel tasting accompanied by typical local snack.
– Trip time to the vineyard-winery from Villajoyosa: 30 minutes by car.
– Small groups, from 4 people up to a maximum of 12 people.
